The Strategeo Institute and Anglo-American University (AAU) are pleased to invite you to a public debate on Future of Ukraine, which will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Anglo-American University, Letenská 120/5, Prague 1 (Room 2.07).
There are many reasons why it is crucial to discuss Ukraine these days — from peace or ceasefire processes and security guarantees, to military and economic aid, EU membership prospects, and the reforms required to achieve them.
Panelists include:
- H.E. Vasyl Zvarych, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic
- Arm. Gen. Karel Řehka, Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces
- Tomáš Kopečný, Czech Governmental Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine
- Petr Krogman, Entrepreneur in Ukraine’s agricultural sector, President of the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce
- AAU student representative
Moderated by Jan Macháček, President of the Strategeo Institute.

- Prospects for peace, ceasefire, and long-term security guarantees
- The role of Western military and economic support in sustaining Ukraine
- Ukraine’s path toward EU membership and necessary domestic reforms
The debate will be conducted in English and will last approximately 90–120 minutes, including audience participation. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the debate to ensure a smooth beginning.
