PRAGUE AGENDA: A podcast by Jan Macháček with Roman Koucký

A prominent Czech architect, Roman Koucký, is the author of one of the few new landmarks of Prague, the new Troja Bridge, as well as the Mariánský Bridge in Ústí nad Labem, which was named one of the most beautiful structures in the world.

Roman Koucký is also the author of Prague’s Metropolitan Plan — more precisely, what remains of it. In the podcast, Professor Koucký explains how Prague is falling behind in new architecture and how illogical the system for approving almost everything is.

We also talked about his buildings and, for example, about how the main square in Slavonice was paved.
