The Prague Agenda continued with a second panel that offered a political perspective on the Metropolitan Plan—a key document for the future development of Prague.
The panel featured:
- Petr Hlaváček (STAN), Deputy Mayor of the City of Prague
- Tomáš Portlík (ODS), Mayor of Prague 9
- Tomáš Pek (TOP 09), Prague 9 Councillor
- Adam Scheinherr (Praha Sobě), Prague City Councillor
- Ondřej Prokop (ANO), Prague City Councillor
The panelists agreed that the plan must be adopted, with controversial elements to be addressed through subsequent amendments. It was stated that the plan should enable the construction of housing and infrastructure and serve as a foundation for the city in the 21st century. However, concerns were also raised about the underestimation of housing estates and persistently low levels of investment.
