Should Prague invest its money as soon as possible, or keep a large reserve for future construction projects? And when does it make sense to borrow for projects? Representatives of six political groups discussed these questions.
The second panel of the Pražská agenda debate How to Manage Prague Effectively brought different views on how the city should manage its finances in the coming years. The discussion covered major construction projects, housing, transport and how many projects Prague can realistically manage to build and finance.
The political panel was moderated by Veselin Vačkov, Strategeo Institute.
The panel featured:
- Petr Hlaváček (STAN), Deputy Mayor of Prague
- Jan Hušbauer (ANO), Deputy Mayor of Prague 4
- Tereza Nislerová (Pirates), Councillor of Prague 4
- Tomáš Pek (SPOLU), First Deputy Mayor of Prague 10
- Adam Scheinherr (Praha sobě), Member of the Prague City Assembly
- Milan Urban (SPD), Member of the Prague City Assembly
