Americký deník The Wall Street Journal ve svém včerejším zpravodajském článku konstatuje, že pro oponenty íránského režimu se realizuje noční můra. Militarizovaný Írán je veden mladšími, tvrdšími lídry a Revoluční gardy v zemi hrají stále dominantnější roli. Američané a Izraelci začali válku s nadějí, že zabití špiček režimu vytvoří podmínky pro jeho změnu, či se alespoň vynoří lídři, kteří budou mít větší pochopení pro americké a izraelské zájmy. Americký prezident Donald Trump už nazval nové íránské vedení „rozumnějším“.
